The San Francisco National Enterprise Center (SFNEC) is working to ensure that Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) are at the forefront of the green economy, by becoming an active stakeholder in our region's efforts to “go green”. With the advent of green technology and green business opportunities, the SFNEC is working to ensure that MBEs are benefiting from the business contracting, philanthropy, job creationand other opportunities that are exploding in this arena. For 2009, in addition to honoring the outstanding performers in the usual categories, MED Week will honor some of those MBEs thriving in the new environmental technologies, services, and products. On behalf of the San Francisco MED Week Coordinating Committee we would like to welcome you to join us for 2009 MED WEEK Festivities.
